In preparation for the Towneley Woodland Festival, on October 10th, work is being done by one of our members to smarten up the carvings on the sculpture trail. The carvings, done on dead trees around the park, have to be cleaned up, before painting with artist?s acrylic paint, then over-varnishing with an exterior-grade acrylic varnish.
