Martin explained the intricacies of choosing the right blade for a piece of work. ? There were 4 types to choose from as well as different sizes of tooth. ? The most?important information to me as a vary occasional and amateur user of a scroll saw was that the blades are stamped out from at the side. ? This produces a blade that is smooth one one side and has a burr on the other and a blade that has a tendency to cut faster on one side, so the operator needs to always adjust to keep the blade close to the line. ? ? ?They have an exercise to help new users get used to the work
