Towneley Hall Heritage & Woodland Festival
On Sunday, 11h September Towneley Park in Burnley was alive with displays, activities and entertainment for all members of the family .
The family Heritage Festival returned to the park with its colourful and educational mix of woodland crafts and displays, civil war re-enactments and guided heritage and wildlife walks.
Lancashire and Cheshire Woodcarvers were once again invited to display our carvings, putting on a glorious display in the entrance hall to the Hall itself.
We had a busy afternoon with a lot of interest and compliments from members of the public who came to this free festival.
